ARA is a member of the Responsible Investment Association of Australia (RIAA).
ARA invests considerable sums of money on behalf of the families and investors it represents, and aims to do so in a way which:
Promotes companies that display high standards of corporate governance and behavior
Is selective about the types of industry and activity from which profit is derived
May also actively promote activities designed to have a positive impact on society, the environment, the socially disadvantaged, etc.
It is increasingly evident that to invest in this manner does not come at the expense of our obligation to seek a satisfactory return for our investors. On the contrary the opportunities in socially responsible investment include some of the most potentially exciting and profitable growth prospects in the investment universe. A win all round!
